Trying on the shirt I made for my cousin’s birthday even though it’s a bit big on me. I’m always tempted to keep these, bah, I just need to get around to making my Sailor Mars one already. Excuse my sad attempt at being a bun-head.
My cousin’s bday present is done! Now I’ve just gotta make her card while waiting for this to dry. (◡‿◡✿)
Time to make some t-shirts, kids! I do this like… once a year. I really need to pick up the pace with that.

The other day I bought a few more frames for the stuff on my living room wall, and finally got one big enough for this poster I painted forever ago. The only thing is that there’s white space around the paper on which I painted and was wondering if I should paint that matte space a different color? Just wanted to know y’alls opinion on it. The big togepi & squirtle talk, the smaller ones are assorted tomy toys or coin machine randoms, and the little bunch at the front are my phone charms that have suffered various forms of dismemberment or mutation because of heavy use. These toys are the ones who survived my childhood, my cousins, and my dog. There was a certain pikachu doll that did not fare quite so well. My dog decided to give it some um… cosmetic facial surgery.

Today I turned in my last paper of the semester, and with that I’ve completed my first year of graduate school! WOOOO!!!
After talking to the security guard at my school for a while and returning a bunch of library books (I need to make another trip for the second stack, I physically couldn’t carry them all) I wandered around downtown for a while and bought myself a few presents.
I wandered through a street fair that was going on, and then went into Forbidden Planet to pick up some stuff. I got the first volume of the collected Tintin comics because I want to have the whole set of those since I don’t have my old oversized ones here with me. Then I got my first Moomin book!! I’m so excited about finally owning one, y’all have no idea. I usually just rent them from the library over and over and over again. Then I picked up the second issue of the Adventure Time comic to see what that’s all about.
Wandered around more and got kind of lost, and helped someone else find their way to Chinatown. Got some food from a hispanic street fair stall (hopefully I don’t die) and as I was stuffing my face, some guy asked me if I was interested in modeling. I thought that was hilarious because I know I don’t eat very nicely and I was so hungry I was just like “OHMAHGAW STEAK & TOSTONES IN MY MOUTH NOW” so it really couldn’t have been a pretty picture. Kept wandering after that for a while.
Then I went to Toy Tokyo to see what they had because I know sometimes they carry a couple pkmn things & gloomy things, etc. OH MAN THOUGH, they had the old Tomy figurines from when pkmn had just come out! I have a few from when I was little still, but these are in their packaging! & THEY WERE ONLY THREE DOLLARS EACH, WTH. I had to hold back from buying their whole stock basically, hahahaha. I’m kind of torn on whether or not I should take them out of the packaging to play with, but they look so cool in them at the same time. The lady said that they bought them from someone’s personal collection so I feel like I should honor that? Idek.
Now I’m home and rocking out to Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Frankie Valli, & the rest of those cool cats while painting some picture frames that I also got today for the apartment. Lovely day was lovely.

I’m so frustrated with this essay right now and with the fact that a lot of my classmates are having a party tonight since a lot of their due dates are later and that I can’t go and blah blah blah that it’s time for a one girl dance party. I dance like a white girl to stupid pop songs, wah wah.
My letter to Lindsay got returned. AUGHHHH, post office lady, why did you lie to me about the correct postage amount?! I JUST WANT TO SEND HER THIS LETTER WITH MY COMMISSION CHECK. (I’ve tried paypal/onlinebanking/etc) Why won’t you let me give her moneyyyy? /frustrated
In other news, this paper is totally not getting turned in today. Idegaf at this point.
